All of Calgary’s public and catholic schools will be out early this summer after significant flooding in the city late last week.
Officials will be allowing students and teachers into schools in non-evacuation zones on Thursday morning to gather their belongings and say goodbye.
They’ll be dismissed at noon.
Several schools in the city were affected by flooding with water reaching to chest height at some schools like St. Mary’s High School.
Some schools are rescheduling their exams while others are offering exemptions.
For more information, students are asked to contact their local school board.
The University of Calgary, Mount Royal, and SAIT are closed until Wednesday.
More information is expected from the school boards later on Monday.
