The man who police have identified as a 'person of interest' in the case of three missing Calgarians has been re-arrested.
A source has confirmed with CTV News that Douglas Garland was arrested by police sometime over the weekend to be questioned in relation to the missing family.
The source also said that Garland was asked by staff at an Airdrie hotel to leave the premises, but it is unclear why or when he did so.
Police then arrested Garland at a location away from the hotel but have not said where.
It's unclear on whether or not Garland is facing new charges.
Jennifer O'Brien, the mother of missing Nathan, says police have informed the family they re-arrested Garland, but they are also still waiting for further details.
Garland, 54, was originally arrested on charges of identity theft and possession of a stolen credit card, unrelated to the disappearance.
He was released on $750 bail from those charges on Friday under a number of strict conditions.
Police are expected to release further details sometime on Monday.
