Airdrie RCMP say that a 15-year-old boy, who has been missing since Wednesday morning, has been found dead.
Aaron Van Huizen was reported missing on Thursday and was last seen in the Creek Side neighbourhood in Airdrie on April 18.
The youth's body was discovered at an undisclosed location within city limits on Friday.
An investigation into the death is ongoing, but RCMP say that it is considered to be non-suspicious.
No further information is being released at this time.
Van Huizen's family is requesting privacy.
