The Calgary Police Service is asking for help from the public with identifying two men who are believed to have information about the identity of a suspect in a recent shooting at a nightclub in the Beltline.

In the early hours of January 10, 2016, shots were fired into the TEN X Nightclub in the 1100 block of 10 Avenue Southwest. A 38-year-old man was struck by a bullet and transported to hospital in stable condition.

Bouncers wrestled the suspected shooter to the hood of a vehicle. Two men, who had been in a vehicle with the shooter prior to the incident, approached the business and were detained by CPS officers who had heard the gun fire. Police arrested the suspected shooter and one of his alleged accomplice’s, but the third suspect fled the scene.

The wanted man is described as:

  • A black man
  • Approximately 178 cm (5’10”) tall
  • Believed to be in his twenties

On Thursday, police released surveillance images from TEN X Nightclub of two men who are believed to hold information that could lead to the arrest of the third suspect.

Anyone with information about the identity of the men in the surveillance photos, or the shooting on January 10, is asked to contact the Calgary Police Service, 403-266-1234, or Crime Stoppers.
