Days after releasing Greyhound surveillance pictures of a stabbing suspect and two people of interest, police have arrested a man in connection to the death of 23-year-old Shane Johnson.
In January 2004, police responded to an early morning call of an injured man outside of the NYLA nightclub on 1 St. S.W. Officers located a man suffering from stab wounds. EMS transported the victim to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
After an investigation which lasted more than nine years, police arrested 33-year-old Yousuf Bikila Saturday afternoon at a location near 37 St. and 17 Ave. S.W.
Bikila has been charged with first degree murder in connection to the 2004 death of Shane Johnson.
