A man wanted in connection to a number of robberies at businesses in the city last month has been picked up by Calgary police.

Daniel Lovey, 28, has an extensive criminal history and was wanted on warrants linked to commercial robberies between July 28th and July 30th of this year.

In the fall of 2016, Lovey was arrested and charged in relation to robberies at retail outlets in Calgary and police put out a plea to the public for information on his whereabouts when he failed to report in to his probation officer.

On Thursday, Loveys was arrested on the latest warrants and taken into custody.
