A collision analyst has been called in to investigate a crash on Highway 3, east of Bellevue, that killed a driver on Tuesday.
Emergency crews were called to a crash involving a westbound sedan and an eastbound pickup truck at about 5:30 a.m.
Police say the driver of the truck died in the crash and the driver of the sedan was treated for minor injuries.
A third vehicle was also damaged in the crash.
Police are investigating the circumstances that led up to the crash and a collision analyst is taking a look at contributing factors.
The identity of those involved is not being released at this time.
