Lenni Folden-Su'a says she still struggles everyday with the loss of her best friend Keni.
"I'm relieved that a guilty verdict has been found and that the men that took Keni's life will be in jail for a long time. I'm glad justice has been served, although I wish Keni could be with us today," said Folden-Su'a.
Justice Earl Wilson also spoke out about the gang violence in this case saying "There has been too much blood spilled, too much pain endured, Let it end here."
The trial lasted four weeks but it took the jury just seven hours to convict the men of killing intended targets Sanjeev Mann and Aaron Bendle. A third victim, Keni Su'a was an innocent bystander.
Jurors emerged just before 8 o'clock Monday to deliver the verdict in the gang style shooting that gripped Calgarians.
"It's a significant blow to the FK-FOB. We have more trials ahead but it's a good start," said prosecutor Shane Parker.
