It was a memorable night in August as big names took the stage all in support of raising money for flood victims, and organizers say they raised millions for those hit hardest in the disaster.
Organizers with Alberta Flood Aid say they raised $2.2M to help support victims of the floods in June.
This total amends the original figure that was released the morning after the concert and includes all the money made from barbecue and t-shirt sales as well as the telethon that continued after the concert was over.
32,000 music fans packed McMahon Stadium in August to take in a number of legendary artists including Nickelback, Jann Arden, Randy Bachman, Tom Cochrane, Colin James, Loverboy, Johnny Reid, the Sheepdogs, and Ian Tyson.
All of the artists performed for free.
The event was also hosted by Corner Gas star and stand up comedian Brent Butt.
