RCMP has released a photo of a suspect in a shooting at a mall in Grande Prairie on September 15, 2016.

An Alberta-wide warrant has been issued for Liban Musse, 23, after a single gunshot was fired at the Prairie Mall in Grande Prairie. Three people were injured in the incident and the mall was evacuated but no suspect was taken into custody.

A photo of Musse has now been released, and he is wanted on six charges:

  • Reckless discharge of a firearm
  • Discharge a firearm with intent
  • Possess a weapon dangerous to the public
  • Carry a concealed weapon
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Possession of restricted firearm with ammunition

Musse is described as:

  • A black male
  • 175 cm (5’9”) tall
  • 65 kg (143 lbs)
  • Short, dark black hair
  • Brown eyes

Police consider Musse to be armed and dangerous and ask that citizens do not approach him. If he is located, please contact RCMP or your local police.
