Police are looking into a sexual assault that happened on Boxing Day and have released more details on the suspect.

A woman left the Brentwood LRT Station on Friday at about 6:45 p.m. and noticed a man walking behind her.

The woman was then grabbed from behind and dragged into an alley near Blakiston Drive and Brentwood Road N.W. 

The woman fell and the man hit her in the head. She started screaming and was able to fight off her attacker.

Police have spoken to the woman and are now releasing more information on the suspect.

He is described as:

  • Aboriginal male
  • About 35 to 40 years old
  • 183 cm or 6’ tall
  • Heavy build
  • Pock-marked face
  • Medium-length, black, stringy hair
  • Was wearing a dark-coloured jacket, a dark-coloured hoodie pulled over his head and dark pants

Police say the offender was last seen walking southbound on Brentwood Road.
