Lethbridge police have now charged a 21-year-old woman in connection with the death of a woman from Coaldale early Monday morning.

At just after 3 a.m. on Monday, police were called to a home in the 300 blook of 19 Street North.

When they arrived, they found 43-year-old Katheline Amber Buck inside. She was declared dead at the scene.

Julie-Ann Nicky Agerskov, 21, was arrested following a traffic stop nearby a short time later.

Police believe Buck and Agerskov were together at an acquaintance’s home when a fight over a past dispute broke out between them.

Investigators say Buck died as a result.

Agerskov has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the death. She will remain in custody until her court appearance on March 9.

The investigation is ongoing.
