Calgary police say a teen who had been missing since late last month has been located

The 13-year-old was last seen downtown on Jan. 29.

Police said though it is not uncommon for her to be out of touch with her family, the length of time she'd been unaccounted for was "concerning."

On Wednesday, police issued an update saying the teen had been found safe.
