A man accused of a triple murder on New Year's Day had made his first court appearance.
On Thursday morning, Real Honorio made a brief appearance wearing a prison-issue jumpsuit, handcuffs and leg shackles.
Honorio is accused of killing Sanjeev Mann, Aaron Bendle and innocent bystander Keni S'ua.
The three were murdered while they ate at the Bolsa Restaurant on Macleod Trail.
Honorio is charged with three counts of first-degree murder.
Honorio's lawyer says she hasn't received any evidence from the Crown yet so the case has been postponed until later this summer.
Toni Roulston also says she's concerned about the media attention focused on the fact that her 25-year-old client was released on bail three days before the murders.
"My concern is that we have an individual, regardless of what the charges are, who is presumed innocent. That's not something that needs to be taken lightly," says Roulston.
Su'a's roommate turned up for Honorio's brief court appearance. "Keni wasn't involved in what they were doing. If they could talk to him, they'd realize he was no threat to them. They don't have any value for human life and they just don't care," says Brad Bjarnason.
Bjarnason says he had to come to court just to see the man accused in S'ua's death.
