Crews at the zoo have repaired the damage done to the island by the June Floods and will reopen the entire facility to the public on Thursday.
The Calgary Zoo sustained about $50 M in damages when it was flooded out on June 21, 2013.
The north section was partially opened at the end of July but some of the island enclosures and facilities required more work to get them back up and running again.
The Zoo will fully re-open to the public at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 28, 2013.
Zoolights gets underway the next day and runs from November 29 to January 4.
