Jayden joined CTV Lethbridge as a video journalist in December 2021, after a nearly one-year stint in Kelowna with Castanet News as both a video journalist and weekend anchor.
He began his career at an unprecedented time. From covering fires to floods, crime, sports and public interest stories, Jayden has gained real-world experiences thanks to his time in Kelowna, and is eager to continue publishing stories that matter in his home of southern Alberta.
His love for broadcasting is all thanks to his grandfather, former broadcaster Lorne Ball. Whenever he needs advice, or honest feedback, his grandpa is always his first choice.
After earning his diploma in broadcasting at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2020, he knew he was one step closer to being the next broadcaster in his family, a dream he’s wanted to accomplish since he was a teenager.
Jayden is considered a social butterfly, a trait he feels has been the biggest help in his career, as he is constantly dealing with new people.
When he's not working, he enjoys being outdoors near any body of water he can find, playing or watching hockey and spending time with his family and friends. Jayden speaks English.
