Tyler Barrow joined CTV News Calgary in September of 2023.
The graduate of SAIT’s Polytechnic Broadcast News Program comes to the Stampede City, having previously worked as the overnight production assistant on History’s Alone show in the North West Territories, and reporting for CTV News stations in Lethbridge and Saskatoon.

While in Saskatchewan, Tyler was fortunate to experience the province and meet so many wonderful people. He told stories of Ukrainian newcomers, residential school survivors and covered the 2022 James Smith Cree Nation massacre.
Tyler is born and raised in Banff, roughly 125 kilometres from Calgary. Tyler says the journey to CTV Calgary has been a whole lot longer, but he has enjoyed every bit of it.
