Lawyers presented their final arguments in the case of a woman accused of killing two of her newborn children.
Meredith Borowiec is on trial for second-degree murder in the deaths of two babies and is also accused of trying to kill a third that was rescued from a dumpster in 2010.
Borowiec confessed in a video interview with police in 2011 and admitted that she gave birth to the babies alone at home and discarded their bodies in the trash.
The recording of the interview was made public last Friday and in it Borowiec also says she didn’t know she was pregnant.
A verdict in the case is expected on Tuesday.
