Kayla Pedersen
ContactKayla Pedersen started working at CTV News Calgary as a writer/producer in March 2022.
Before joining CTV News, Kayla worked at 660 City News as a reporter, anchor and producer for more than four years.
Kayla was born in Red Deer and raised in Calgary.
She graduated from SAIT in 2013 with a broadcast news diploma, before moving to Prince Albert, Sask. to start her journalism career.
While working at The Mountaineer Publishing Company, Kayla won both provincial and national photography awards for her photo titled “Dog attack leads to fear,” and had her article 71 years since D-Day published in The Maroon Beret magazine.
During her free time Kayla spends time with her family and friends, eating out and watching movies.
Kayla speaks English.
